WELCOME Kathy LaTour, breast cancer survivor, author of The Breast Cancer Companion, and editor at large for CURE magazine, has captured audiences that include cancer survivors and caregivers, medical professionals and those in related health care fields with her wit, knowledge and passion as she has entertained and educated. Kathy premiered her show "One Mutant Cell" in spring of 2003 to benefit Gilda's Club North Texas, and since then has performed the humorous account of her cancer journey across the country. The goal of every physician is to cure. But the goal of every patient is to be healed, which means the integration of the illness into his or her life -- no matter the eventual outcome.
